Global Cybersecurity Leaders Warn of Rising Digital Threats on Independence Day Celebrations in India

New Delhi, India – August 15, 2025:
On the occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day, global cybersecurity observers noted the country’s growing role in combating cybercrime. During celebrations at Cyber Security Intelligence Systems (CSIS) headquarters in Hyderabad, Founder Deva E and Managing Director M. Mahir Hussain delivered speeches emphasizing that cyber defense is now a critical component of national security worldwide.

Deva E stated, “Cyberattacks do not recognize borders. A breach in one nation can trigger consequences across the globe. In this interconnected era, defending India’s digital space also means contributing to global stability.”

Mahir Hussain highlighted the need for international cooperation, saying, “The cyber battlefield is global. Only by sharing intelligence, resources, and best practices can nations truly stay ahead of evolving threats.”

Cyber experts from partner organizations in Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia extended virtual greetings and expressed their willingness to collaborate with CSIS on cross-border threat intelligence initiatives.

The event underscored that safeguarding freedom in the modern age requires unity not only within nations but across the global digital community.
